Your ways were not that subtle

You had me at a knee deep to ankle

You promised me a bundle

It brought nothing but trouble

You appeared out of nowhere

You promised to love me forever

You told me my troubles are over

My knight in shining armour is here

You were God sent for me

At those times I was so happy

I uttered a sigh, Finally

I’m gonna be free

Now I can sense a storm is brewing

An alligator is nearby lurking

Trying to get me, had me flunking

Oh, what a nightmare ‘twas in the offing

When I woke up, I realized you’re a hoax

Love for you is full of flukes

You had nothing but hawks

You wanted nothing but to put me in hooks

You were in a feeding frenzy

You put this damsel in distress to wary

The feelings could never allay

The castle crumbled and gone a nary…

Love lost…love regained…

The lights dimmed

Twas about to be perished

In the heart it is dying

Though it wants to keep on trying...

Perchance so to speak

Because it has to seek

Of love that is lost

On its past ghost

But hope is striving to peek

Put glimmer on feelings already weak

Aiming to vanish the gloom

That may lead to its doom

It seems to grow anew

To wipe away the blue

Alas! though love may seem slumbering

Yet it is in the heart waiting

For whatever that is lost

And you may forget to boast

Something  being taketh away

Will surely go back and find its way...

Another Dimension

Beyond the horizon

Is another life dimension

Another chapter unfolds

One man boldly holds

He is the sole refuge

Even in times of deluge

He’s known not to buckle

He will boldly tackle

No wonder he’s a super hero

Being worshipped by his alter ego

Doesn’t think of it a fraught

Even his efforts will come to naught

At the end of the day

What’s left, is kept at bay

A man who knows nothing

Is left still wondering

The world is for all to see

Yet, he let others be

He, in his own nook

Just left it on the hook…
