Your ways were not that subtle
You had me at a knee deep to ankle
You promised me a bundle
It brought nothing but trouble
You appeared out of nowhere
You promised to love me forever
You told me my troubles are over
My knight in shining armour is here
You were God sent for me
At those times I was so happy
I uttered a sigh, Finally
I’m gonna be free
Now I can sense a storm is brewing
An alligator is nearby lurking
Trying to get me, had me flunking
Oh, what a nightmare ‘twas in the offing
When I woke up, I realized you’re a hoax
Love for you is full of flukes
You had nothing but hawks
You wanted nothing but to put me in hooks
You were in a feeding frenzy
You put this damsel in distress to wary
The feelings could never allay
The castle crumbled and gone a nary…
